House Extension in Hamworthy, Poole
This single-story rear extension in Hamworthy was a very pleasurable ten-week job due to having a great understanding with the clients as they have seen some of our previous projects. First of all, we removed an old orangery, excavated and poured concrete footings and then laid a block and beam floor. Once all the blockwork and steels were fitted we installed a new pitched roof creating an internal vaulted ceiling in the new kitchen area below. We then removed all of the existing roof tiles and replaced all the roof areas with new grey slates. All dormer areas were covered in Marley weatherboard. Internally, we insulated, plastered and decorated to a high-end finish as usual, the final thing we did was to install a brand new kitchen that again was supplied by Howdens Joinery, which was designed and ordered to the client’s specification.
